I love Pharrell as musician and producer. But he's also involved with fashion in last years. He was named best dressed man of 2005 by Esquire Magazine and in the next year he was invited by Louis Vuitton to design a sunglasses and jewelery line.
So ok... But where Japanese fashion is included?
In 2005 Pharrell launched two lines of clothing,
Billionaire Boys and Ice Cream with his partner Nigo (founder of the famous brand "A Bathing Ape"). Since then part of the clothes are produced in Japan following japanese fashion standards. Their first store was opened in Tokyo and it was a great sucess with public.
Nowadays there are two more stores (in New York and Hong Kong) and you can find Billionaire Boys and Ice Cream products at Barney's, Collete and other hight end boutiques around the world.
